The editable areas within the template may not display properly when the PDF template is uploaded to some websites (VistaPrint, Staples) or when opened with programs other than Adobe Acrobat Reader.

To fix this, the PDF template will need to be converted to a JPG file using the free online converter Small PDF. Please follow these steps to convert your template to a JPG file and if you need any help please contact us at any time!

  1. Save the finished PDF template to a PC or MAC computer
  2. Open the website https://SmallPdf.com/pdf-to-jpg and drag your file to the area labeled “Drop PDF Here”
  3. Select “Convert Entire Pages” and then click “Choose Option”.
  4. After the file is converted, the new JPG will display in the bottom left of the page. Hover over this thumbnail and click “Download”.
  5. The new JPG file will be downloaded to a location on your computer (most likely the /Downloads folder).
  6. Navigate to your computer’s downloads area and select the new JPG file. The file is now ready to use online!

These templates are designed for printing onto quality card stock and can be trimmed on the guide marks with scissors or a slide cutter. The templates do not fit any scored, sized, branded or pre-punched place cards (Avery, Gartner, etc…). FedEx Office and other supply stores do have heavy-duty cutters for cutting large quantities of prints. Check out our easy-to-follow DIY Printing Guide for complete details!

To view and order our templates, please visit our online store or our Etsy shop at www.etsy.com/shop/CrossvineDesigns.  We offer a wide selection of diy wedding templates for invitations, place cards, seating charts, tags & labels, signs and more.

Depending on your Adobe settings, a small “plus sign” may appear after filling out an area on the template. This ‘plus sign’ is called the Text Overflow Indicator. Follow these steps to remove this indicator from your template.

– Open Acrobat (or Reader).
– Click menu “Edit —> Preferences”
– Under Categories, select Forms.
– Uncheck “Show text field overflow indicator”.
– Close the program.
– When you reopen the document, the + sign will not appear, and it will not be printed.

Etsy will send the download link to you in an email, which sometimes can take a few minutes.

OR

Login to your Etsy account and go to You > Purchases & Reviews and look for the order.

To the right of the order, click Download Files. This goes to the Downloads page for all the files attached to your order.

After purchasing a digital file from our Etsy shop – CrossvineDesigns – you’ll see a View your files link which goes to the Downloads page. Here, you can download all the files associated with your order.

Downloads are available once your payment is confirmed. If you paid with PayPal or a credit card on Etsy, confirmation might take a few minutes.

We’ll also send you a download notification email separate from any transaction notification emails you receive from Etsy and/or PayPal.

Print the template as many times as you want!

No font downloads are necessary. The fonts we use are part of our unique designs and as a result, their names are not shared. Use the fonts that are already installed on your computer or download free fonts from sites such as: www.fontspace.com & www.fontsquirrel.com

1. Download the template onto a computer (PC or MAC)
2. Make the edits by clicking onto the highlighted area and replacing the text with your own wording
3. SAVE your updated file with a unique name (my-template.pdf, etc…). A L W A Y S print a test page onto common copy paper B E F O R E printing onto specialty papers. Hold the test page up to a blank sheet of your paper, in front of a light or window, and make sure that you are happy with the way it will print onto the page. Crossvine Designs is not responsible for wasted card stock, specialty papers, label paper, or ink.

• Edit the templates with Adobe Acrobat Reader
• Print the templates at home or with a local copy shop
• Print as many templates as needed!

We offer many sizes based on the template or item you are selecting!  Most templates – except for seating charts –  can be printed on 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheets of paper and cut out by hand with scissors or a slide cutter. Templates are marked with crop marks to make this easier for you!
